Stealing is the name of the game, but getting the egg home is the skill. This guide is how to steal eggs in Steal An Anime Egg on Roblox without donating them to a guardian or the player behind you.

The official loop allows two targets: eggs guarded by anime, and eggs sitting on other players’ plots. Both use the same carry rules. Both fail the same way — you get tagged, you drop, someone else picks up.

Before you touch the egg

Stand still for two seconds and check:

1. Speed gate. If the floor or sign wants more Speed than you have, leave. Training is cheaper than a failed carry. See Speed training.
2. Guardian facing. Steal when the anime looks away or at the far peg of its patrol, not when it is staring at the nest.
3. Exit lane. Know the path back to your plot before pickup. Pickup is not the time to discover a fence.
4. Other players. Six-player servers mean you can count bodies. If three people are already camping the same rare, you are the loot crate.

If any of those four is bad, wait for the egg timer restock or hop servers.

The pickup

Use the interact prompt (see controls). The moment the egg is in your hands:

• Turn toward home. Do not strafe along the nest for a better camera.
• Jump only to clear lips and rails. Random bunny hops on a carry make you easy to read and sometimes slower.
• Do not emote. Do not inventory. Do not open the shop.

You are slower while carrying. Plan as if the guardian is faster than the Speed number on your HUD, because size and ping will make it true.

Return routes

Good routes are boring. Hug the inside of the track. Cut corners that do not enter another guardian’s radius. If two paths exist, take the one with fewer players even if it is three seconds longer — a contest is slower than a detour.

If you are about to be tagged, a controlled drop inside a wall seam or over a rail can be better than a guaranteed lose, but only if you can loop back. Panic drops in the open are gifts. Recovering a drop is still a steal: pick it up again only when the guardian has turned.

Stealing from players

PvP steal is allowed. It is also how you lose your night. Rules that keep it profitable:

• Snipe eggs still on hatch slots or sitting unattended, not anime that are already paying unless the game treats those as stealable in the current build. Watch the prompt; do not assume.
• Go in when the owner is on a far nest, not when they are on the treadmill facing the door.
• Leave through a different lane than you entered so they cannot body-block the same gap.
• Do not start a PvP steal if your own plot is unlocked. You are trading a maybe-rare for a certain loss. Harden home first with how to protect.

If you get revenge-stolen immediately, you picked a loud target. Next time take a quieter egg and hatch it before you dance.

How to find the right egg

“How to find” in this game means reading restocks, not wandering. When the map announces a reset, be already standing at the nest you can actually clear. Rarity tells and particle colors help once you have seen a few hatches; until then, use the eggs tier list as a “worth a death” filter.

Server hopping is legal play. Sort public servers by low population when a rare is up. Empty is not always better if the one other player is a Speed monster, but two campers on a six-max server is usually a skip.

After the egg is down

The steal is not over until the hatch starts. Place it, then look at your door. If someone followed you in, you still have a PvP problem. The getting started checklist ends on defense for this reason.

Then spend the hatch timer on the treadmill. A successful steal that is not converted into Speed is just a screenshot.

Mistakes that look like bad luck

• Grabbing the farthest nest because a thumbnail said it was Secret.
• Crossing a second guardian’s radius on the way home.
• Carrying through spawn where every idle player is a collision.
• Ignoring how to play and trying to hold two ideas at once (steal and shop).
• Using a script the first time you fail a carry. That is a scripts decision, not a steal decision, and it can delete the account. Read script safety if you go that way.
